Enthroned is a Belgian black metal band formed in 1993 by guitarist Tsebaoth and drummer Cernunnos. The group initially included bassist Sabathan and released their first demo, followed by a split EP with Ancient Rites in 1994. Their debut album, Prophecies of Pagan Fire, was released in 1995 through Osmose Productions. In April 1997, Cernunnos committed suicide; the band honored him with the EP Regie Sathanas - A Tribute to Cernunnos (1998). Their second album, Towards the Skullthrone of Satan, was released in 1997. Throughout the early 2000s, the band released several albums, which include Armoured Bestial Hell (2000) and Carnage in Worlds Beyond (2002), and toured extensively. Subsequent releases include Tetra Karcist (2007) and Pentagrammaton (2010), which was named album of the month in several magazines. The band's later albums include Sovereigns (2014), Cold Black Suns (2019), and Ashspawn (2025).
