Adam Rickitt, born Adam Peter Rickitt on May 29, 1978, in Crewe, Cheshire, is a British actor and singer. Before his music career, he briefly worked as a child model and later auditioned for the ITV soap opera Coronation Street in 1997, securing the role of Nick Tilsley. He remained on the show until 1999, returning briefly in 2002 and for a longer spell from 2003 to 2004. In 1999, he embarked on a music career, signing a six-album deal with Polydor Records. His debut single "I Breathe Again" reached Number five in the UK and was certified silver by BPI. The same year, he released his first and only album Good Times, which peaked at Number 41 on the UK Albums Chart. Other notable singles from the album include "Everything My Heart Desires" and "The Best Thing". In addition to his solo work, he was part of the supergroup 5th Story, which participated in the second series of The Big Reunion in 2014. His acting career continued with roles in various productions, including the UK tour of Rent as Mark Cohen in 2001 and appearances on Channel 4's Hollyoaks from 2017 to 2020.
