Masaya Nakahara is a Japanese musician, writer, and actor born in 1970. Performing under the names Violent Onsen Geisha and Hair Stylistics, Nakahara released the debut albums Excrete Music (1991) and Split (1991). Their discography includes the albums Otis (1993), Que Sera, Sera (1995), and The Midnight Gambler (1996). Using the name Hair Stylistics, Nakahara released the recordings 1996-1999 (2001) and Custom Cock Confused Death (2004). Their recordings also include the albums AM 5:00+ (2007) and Expanded Pussies (2009). Nakahara received the Mishima Prize for literature in 2001. As an actor, the artist appeared in the film My God, My God, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me? (2005).
