The Bandgeek Mafia, a ska-core band from Trier, Germany, was formed in 2002. Their early breakthrough came with the release of their self-titled EP The Bandgeek Mafia in 2005, which was downloaded over 15,000 times. The group's debut album, Paint Your Target, was released on Long Beach Records in 2007 and sold over 1,800 copies. In the following years, The Bandgeek Mafia toured extensively with notable acts such as Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies, Less Than Jake, Rantanplan, and Streetlight Manifesto. Their subsequent album, No Disguise, was released in February 2010 on Long Beach Records and was produced by Kurt Ebelhäuser. The band also released the single "About Beasts & Lovers" in 2009 and the EP Flyweights in 2013. The Bandgeek Mafia announced their disbandment in January 2015.
