Catherine Feeny is an American singer-songwriter born in 1976 in Philadelphia. She was raised in Norristown, Pennsylvania, and later relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a songwriting career. Feeny released her debut studio album, Catherine Feeny, in 2003. This was followed by the recording Hurricane Glass in 2006, which featured the single “Mr. Blue”. The track appeared in several films and was featured in the series finale of the animated program BoJack Horseman in 2020. After moving to Oregon in 2008, she issued the album People in the Hole (2009). In 2011, she participated in the Occupy Wall Street protests, an experience that served as the catalyst for her fourth studio album, America (2012). Feeny has toured as an opening act for artists including John Prine and Suzanne Vega.
