Kambrium is a German melodic death metal ensemble from Helmstedt established in 2005. The group consists of the musicians Martin Simon, Jan Hein, Karsten Simon, Maximilian Werner, and Adrian Hermet. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by melodic death metal. The ensemble was founded in late 2005 by the musicians Nils Peter Töpfer, Marc Brunke, Julian Schenke, Hein, and Simon. Their recording career began with the debut demo recording Kambrium (2007). Kambrium achieved professional recognition for the demo recording From Treason to Death (2008) and the extended play A Silent Moon (2010). Their discography included the debut studio recording Shadowpath (2011) released on the label Massacre Records. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for receiving the audience award at the Devil's Wall Trophy in 2012. They achieved professional recognition for performing at the Walpurgis Rock Festival in 2012. Their recording career included the studio recording Dark Reveries (2013) and the studio recording The Elders' Realm (2016). Kambrium achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Dawn of the Five Suns (2018) and the studio recording Synthetic Era (2021).
