Blaze of Perdition was a Polish black metal band formed in Lublin in 2007 from the earlier group Perdition. Their early releases included the 2009 split In Void and Serpent the Spirit Is One with Pseudogod and the EP Deus Rex Nihilum Est. The band released its debut full-length album, Towards the Blaze of Perdition, in 2010, followed by The Hierophant in 2011. After signing with Agonia Records, Blaze of Perdition released Near Death Revelations (2015), an album shaped by the band's experiences following a serious road accident, and continued with Conscious Darkness (2017) and The Harrowing of Hearts (2020). The band later signed with Metal Blade Records and released Upharsin in 2024. Blaze of Perdition ended its activity in 2025 after nearly two decades in the Polish black metal scene.
