Sasha McLeod, born on August 26, 2001 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, is an Indigenous Australian singer‑songwriter and producer who performs under the name Sycco. After learning guitar from her father at seven, she released her debut single "Starboard Square" in 2018 and followed with "Peacemaker" and "Tamed Grief" in 2019. The following year, she released "Nicotine" and Dribble", which led to her nomination for Triple J Unearthed Artist of the Year at the J Awards in 2020. Sycco signed with Future Classic and issued Sycco's First EP in 2021. She supported acts including Vera Blue and Glass Animals, and performed at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival and the Darwin Festival.
