Chiaki Mayumura, a Japanese idol and singer-songwriter, was born in Tokyo on September 12, 1996. From a young age, she developed a passion for music, particularly for Okinawan music and the South Korean pop band TVXQ. She honed her musical abilities and embarked on her professional career as a performer, adopting the stage name Chiaki within the group Star-Bright★REX. In 2016, Chiaki Mayumura transitioned to a solo career, crafting her own songs and performing with an acoustic guitar. She started releasing her solo work that same year, beginning with the album Sūpāsaia (Chi) (スーパーサイア「ち」). Chiaki Mayumura quickly established herself as a prolific recording artist, producing two additional albums in 2016 and four in 2017. In late 2017, she founded Kaishaja Naimon Co., Ltd, and began selling share certificates at her concerts. Chaiki Mayumura's improvisational skills also earned her recognition, particularly when she ad-libbed a song on the Japanese television program God Tongue in June 2018. Impressed by her talent, the record label Toy's Factory signed her, leading to the release of her highly successful album Mejameja Monja in 2019, which reached Number 45 on the Oricon chart. Chiaki Mayumura has since continued to release music through Toy's Factory, including her 2023 album SAI, which peaked at Number 55 on the Japanese Top 100.
