Rodeo Ruby Love were an American pop/rock band from Marion, Indiana, formed in 2005. Founded by lead vocalist Zack Melton, the group drew inspiration from church hymns and pop-country radio. They released their debut album, Your Love Has Made Everything Beautiful, in 2006, followed by the EPs What Loneliness Can Do to You and Honest to God in 2007. Their second studio album, Vs. the Great American Cities, appeared in 2008. The band gained national prominence in 2011 after signing with Pentimento Music Company, which re-released their 2010 album, This Is Why We Don't Have Nice Things, following a tour with Streetlight Manifesto and Reel Big Fish. Subsequent releases include the live album Live in Marion, IN (2012), the studio album The Pits (2013), and the 2015 collection You Get the Gist: The Bastard Songs of Rodeo Ruby Love. The band became inactive in 2015.
