KingDow is an artist hailing from the Seattle area. KingDow makes what he calls genre transcending music that goes beyond genres. KingDow grew up playing in various jazz, funk, and rock bands until he focused solely on his solo artist career back in 2018. His accolades include being discovered on Fresh Finds editorial Spotify playlist in 2022, featured on KEXP’s black history month section, performing at Millcreek and Fremont Friday festivals, Redfellow festival in Bothell, headlining numerous times at the High Dive in Seattle, performing at the Thesis showcase in Portland, being covered in local newspaper Everett Herald and performing 250 cap venue Black Lab Gallery to enthusiastic crowds. Utilizing his artistry, bass coproduction and visual dancing, KingDow continues to push boundaries with his energy, positivity and eclectic music range.
