Simon Mathew was born on May 17, 1984, in Hirtshals, Denmark. He is a Danish singer whose debut album, Simon Mathew (2005), reached number 3 on the Danish charts and included the single “These Arms” (2005). In 2007, Mathew released the single “You Are the Music in Me” (2007). He won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2008 and represented Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song “All Night Long” (2008). Mathew finished 15th in the grand final. His second album, All for Fame (2008), appeared in April. In 2009, Mathew collaborated with Ida Corr on the single “Illusion” (2009).
