Kiki Rockwell, born July 3, 1995 in San Francisco, is a New Zealand singer, songwriter, and music producer whose early life spanned Bonn and Auckland. Rockwell began piano lessons as a child and later wrote songs influenced by German fairy tales, folklore, and mythological figures. Before starting a solo career, Rockwell performed as a keyboardist and percussionist with the band The Leers, participating in the EP The Only Way Out Is In (2020). Rockwell debuted a solo career with the single “Left for Dead” in October 2021. The following month, Rockwell issued the debut EP Bleeding Out in a Forest (2021), which included the single “Same Old Energy”. This track, which explored the history of witch trials, amassed three million views on TikTok. In 2023, Rockwell released the debut album Rituals on the Bank of a Familiar River, which featured the queer-themed single “Cup Runneth Over”. This release was followed by the album Eldest Daughter of an Eldest Daughter (2024). Rockwell scheduled a European tour for 2026, with performances in Germany, Vienna, London, and Prague.
