The Kabeedies were an English indie and alternative rock band from Norwich and Woodbridge, England. Formed in 2006, the group consisted of Katie Allard (vocals), Evan Jones (guitar/vocals), Rory Hill (bass guitar/vocals), and Francis "Fab" Bell (drums). The Kabeedies released their debut EP Sideburns Ep in 2007. Their breakthrough came with the release of "Lovers Ought To" in 2008, followed by "Ten Animals I Slam in a Net" in the same year. They signed to NRone Records and released their debut album Rumpus in 2009. The band toured extensively across the UK and Europe, performing at notable festivals such as Glastonbury Festival (2008) and Latitude Festival. They also supported acts including Darwin Deez and Bombay Bicycle Club. In 2012, they released their second album Soap. Vocalist Katie Allard left the band in July 2012, leading to the formation of Keep Up by Jones, Hill, and Bell.
