Andy Tillison is a British keyboardist and singer known for his work in progressive rock, particularly with Parallel or 90 Degrees and The Tangent. His early musical endeavors included the unsigned band Gold Frankincense & Disk Drive with guitarist and vocalist Guy Manning, alongside Hugh Banton on organ and Dave Albone on drums; one of their pieces, “A Gap in the Night,” was later included on Parallel or 90 Degrees’ The Corner of My Room. Tillison and Manning subsequently formed Parallel or 90 Degrees, which went on to release albums including Afterlifecycle (1998) and Unbranded (2000). In 2003, plans for a solo album evolved into the debut release by The Tangent, The Music That Died Alone, featuring musicians such as Roine Stolt and David Jackson. Tillison has also released solo works including Fog (2007), Murk (2011), and Electric Sinfonia No. 2 (2014).
