Hypertrophy was a German electronic music ensemble from Duisburg established in 1993. The group was established by the musicians Stefan Heinemann and Thorsten Kaiser, who was known by the stage name DJ Thoka. Their recording career began with the debut extended play 4 the World E.P. (1995). They achieved professional recognition for the track "Just Come Back to Me" (1997) which reached Number 1 in France and number 51 in Germany. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the track "Beautiful Day" (1997) which reached number 2 in the United States and number 79 in Germany. Their discography included the track "Eternal Flames" (1998) and the track "Pullover" (1999) which reached number 53 in Germany. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the track "Just Come Back 2 Me 2005" (2005). The ensemble became inactive in 2005.
