Nifelheim signed to Necropolis Records and released their debut album Nifelheim in 1995, which was recorded at Studio Fredman. In 1998, they released Devil's Force. Notable contributions include "Witches Sabbat" on the Headbangers Against Disco split EP and "Die in Fire" on the Bathory tribute album In Conspiracy with Satan. Their third studio album, Servants of Darkness, was released in 2000 through Black Sun Records.
