Ricardo Eliseo Ceratto Bernardi, born 18 July 1939 in Loma Alta, Santa Fe, Argentina, was a singer and composer whose career spanned the 1970s and 1980s. He first gained recognition composing romantic ballads, often with fellow Argentine Jorge Morell, and released early albums such as Me estoy acostumbrando a ti (1975) and El Sol Nace Para Todos (1977). In the 1980s, Bernardi moved to Mexico, recording Ricardo Ceratto (1981) for EMI and achieving regional hits like "El sol nace para todos" and "A Santiago voy". He collaborated with Estela Núñez, Raphael, and Leo Dan, and after converting to Christianity he devoted his later work to gospel music, issuing Dedicado a ti Señor (1985). Bernardi died of a heart attack in Santa Fe on 29 March 1995.
