Jolly Mon, formed in 1991 by Carey Rich in Eugene, Oregon, is a rock band noted for blending reggae, 70s atmospheric Pink Floyd, and hard‑rock elements. After relocating to Portland in 1994, the band released its debut studio album Sailing in 1993, followed by Nobody Knows Who You Are in 1995, and Stoned Nation Radio in 1998, the latter featuring a hybrid of metal, hip‑hop scratching, and electronica. A 2000 self‑titled release marked a stylistic shift, but the group disbanded in 2002. A 2016 reunion led to the 2017 album Voidwalker, which was reviewed by Power Play magazine.
