Psychograss was an American bluegrass supergroup founded in 1993 by fiddler Darol Anger and mandolinist Mike Marshall. Both musicians had previously been members of the David Grisman Quintet and Montreaux, and had performed as a duo. They invited bassist Todd Phillips and percussionist Joe Craven to join them for their album Psychograss, released in 1993 on Windham Hill Records. The album featured Tim O'Brien on vocals and Tony Trischka on banjo. Guitarist David Grier joined the band for their second album, Like Minds (1996), which included a cover of a Jimi Hendrix song. Their third album, Now Hear This, was released in 2005 on Adventure Records.
