An alternative rock band mixing the intensity of blues with the poetry of our states of mind, Shelterside is a mixed formation whose members, from different origins, were brought together by self-affirmation and the rage for life.
Since 2015, Shelterside has poured impulsive lyrics into melo-unbridled compositions that crystallize emotions. Rival Sons, The Subways and Audioslave influence their music where accents of blues, funk and soul intersect.
Their values, drawing their sources from experience and adversity, combine in visceral songs with evocative themes : fights against oneself, flight forward, inner light.
For them, everything is about finding balance. Romuald and Kevin, two guitarists with opposing styles are the founders of the band : one is technical and academic, the other instinctive and inhabited. They will surround themselves with Arnaud and Mustafa, experienced musicians on drums and bass, then Vanessa on vocals. Her arrival adds power to Romuald's clear and deep voice, creating an organic and vibrant vocal duet.
On stage, they electrify us with boundless generosity, exhilarated by the communion of the moment.
After the single "Black Friday" published in 2019, Shelterside's debut album "From Scratch" was released in November 2023, following the lead single "Two Faces".
