Camera Silens, a French punk rock band, was formed in Bordeaux, France, in 1981 by Gilles Bertin (bass, vocals) and Benoît Destriau (guitar). In 1985, they released their debut album Réalité, followed by Rien qu'en traînant in 1987 and 84/87 in 1992. The group toured extensively across France, sharing stages with notable acts such as the Clash and OTH, and participated in the Boulevard du Rock festival. The band disbanded in 1988 but reunited in 2000, releasing Camera Silens in 2011 and Classe Criminelle in 2021.
