Laurent Véronnez, born on December 10, 1977 in Brussels, Belgium, is a melodic electronic musician known professionally as Airwave. After experimenting with computers and synthesizers in Brussels, he sent demos to Lightning Records, securing a contract that led to early releases with PLG, Montera, North Pole, and Magnetix. Airwave’s breakthrough came with the Fire & Ice 12" produced with DJ Fire, establishing an international presence. His debut album Believe (2002) was followed by I Want To Believe (2004), Trilogique (2006), and a series of 2012 releases—Dark Lines, Bright Lines, and Parallel Lines—showcasing his evolving style.
