Sprung Aus Den Wolken, a Berlin-based New German Wave band, was founded in 1980 by Kiddy Citny. Their EP, Sprung Aus Den Wolken, appeared in 1981, followed by Pas Attendre in 1985, and its title track was featured on Wim Wenders’ film Der Himmel über Berlin. The group released Warte – Ketzer – Hypnotischer Krach and The Story Of Electricity in 1982 and 1987 respectively, and Roundandaround in 1991. Yhey returned with Early Recordings (2004), Global K.O. (2007), and Lust Last Liebe (2011). The band’s work blends New Wave, industrial, and dub influences.
