Les Troubadours du Roi Baudouin was a Congolese choir from Kamina formed in 1954. The ensemble was founded by Franciscan priest Guido Haazen and consisted of 45 adolescent singers and 15 teachers. The group achieved recognition for the recording Missa Luba (1958), which arranged Latin mass texts to Luba melodies. The choir toured Europe in 1958 and performed with the Vienna Boys' Choir. Their recording of the song “Sanctus” reached the UK Singles Chart in 1969. The group became inactive in 1960. Their work was later released on the compilation Missa Luba / Misa Criolla (2000).
