Jean-Michel Rossignol, known professionally as Junior Cony, is a French artist, composer, and musician. He began his musical journey in 1983 with the punk-industrial duo Les Envahisseurs alongside Christian Vallée. The group released their debut album Migraine on Mars two years later and disbanded in 1987. He is also recognized for his work as a DJ, notably with the French punk band Ludwig von 88. His dub project blends digital technology with traditional roots dub sounds. His debut album Inna Roots Tradition was released in 2003 on Crash Disques. In 2006, he released Peace Monger, marking his return to the studio with a roots and digital dub style. Subsequent albums include collaborations with Shanti D on The Meaning of Life (2008) and The End (2014). He has also worked on projects like Bass Koutur and LaTwal, exploring electro-dub with punk influences.
