Remi Masunaga is a Japanese pianist. Masunaga completed musical studies at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris, earning a higher education diploma and six prizes in piano, chamber music, harmony, 20th-century writing, counterpoint, and orchestration. Her early training included study under Jacques Rouvier in Marseille, as well as Théodore Paraskivesco and Laurent Cabasso at the Conservatoire de Paris. She also received guidance from György Sándor, Vladimir Kraïnev, and Ramzi Yassa. She became a laureate at several international competitions, including the Olivier-Messiaen Competition in Paris, the Mozart Competition in Salzburg, and the Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona. Throughout her career, she performed across Europe and Japan as a soloist and chamber musician. Masunaga's discography includes her 2002 debut recordings of works by Beethoven, Fauré, and De Falla, a collaborative album titled Gaspard Cassado (2002) with cellist Pablo de Naveràn, and Bach's Variations Goldberg BWV 988 (2011).
