Guy Penson

Guy Penson, born in 1958 in Belgium, is a Belgian harpsichordist, organist, and pianist. He studied piano under Claude Coppens and harpsichord under Johan Huys at the Conservatoire de Gand. He won the Musica Antiqua competition in Bruges in 1980. His career includes collaborations with ensembles such as Ricercar Consort, Orchestre des Champs-Élysées, I Fiamminghi, and Concerto Köln. His recordings include Johann Sebastian Bach's Concerti per Cembalo Solo (1986), Œuvres pour deux clavecins (1989) with Florian Heyerick, and The Susanne van Soldt Virginal Book (2007).
