Falguni Pathak, born on March 12, 1969, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is an Indian singer, performing artist, and composer based in Mumbai. Known for performing traditional musical forms from the state of Gujarat, she garnered a large fan base across India following her professional debut in 1987. Her music often focused on themes of love, and she recorded numerous songs for Bollywood films. Backed by her band, Tha Thaiyaa, she performed extensively. Her notable releases include the albums Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi (1998) and Maine Payal Hai Chhankai (1999), as well as the popular songs “Chudi Jo Khanki Haathon Mein” and “Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye”. Her television appearances include shows such as Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Kaun Banega Crorepati. Celebrated within the Gujarati community, she performed at Navaratri festivals, and in August 2013, reports indicated she would earn ₹2 crores during the year's festivities.
