45trio

45trio is a dynamic Japanese instrumental unit led by renowned keyboardist, producer, and trackmaker SWING-O a.k.a. 45, known for his deep roots in Black music. Formed with bassist SUNAPANNG—famous for his booming upright bass and expressive performance—and drummer Masahiko Kubo—whose groove is heavy yet precise. Highly respected in Japan’s club scene, 45trio has built a reputation for their deep musicality and infectious live sets. One of their trademarks is the “Hip-Hop Medley” series, which takes live DJ requests and transforms them into live instrumental mashups. With over 50 tracks in this evolving set, their shows are both a tribute to hip-hop’s golden era and a showcase of elite musicianship. Their notable releases are "Where Are We Goin' / K-Jee"(2020), "SOUL REViEW"(2024) and "Inside My Love / Gee Dee" (2025)
