Sarandon, an English indie rock group formed in London in 2003, initially consisted of singer/guitarist Simon Williams, drummer James Higgott, and bass player Joe Morris. Their debut show followed a single rehearsal and the release of their first single "The Miniest Album". After releasing "The Big Flame" and replacing Higgott with Simon Poole on drums, Sarandon continued with two more 7-track 7" records, "The Feminist Third" and "The June Bride", which were later compiled into The Completist's Library. The band's lineup evolved further with the addition of Stephen Gilchrist and Alan Brown. In 2008, they released their album Kill Twee Pop!, which received positive reviews for its avant-punk rock intonations. In 2011, they released the album titled Sarandon's Age of Reason, which is something of a concept album with narration provided by The Shend of The Cravats and The Very Things.
