Before stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, Hervé was the guitarist for Floo Flash, a cult 80s power-pop band whose sharp melodies and infectious energy defined their era. After stints as an artistic director at Vogue and CBS, he signed to EMI in the late ’80s and began carving out a singular path — one where rock, chanson, and French elegance meet.
His fifth album, #5, marks a radiant comeback, enriched by high-profile collaborations with Mark Plati (David Bowie, The Cure), Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello & The Attractions), and Charlie Giordano (Bruce Springsteen).
Now, Hervé reconnects with his roots through Rose Bonbon, the brand-new EP from Floo Flash — celebrating the return of a mythical band and an artist who’s still very much on the move.
