Flowerpornoes, a German rock band, was formed in 1985 in Duisburg. The group's initial lineup included Tom Liwa as frontman and Mitbegründer, alongside Anni Vocado, Doc Suhren, and Birgit Quentmeier. Their music spans alternative rock, psychedelia, and folk with introspective German lyrics. Flowerpornoes released their first EP, Make Up, in 1987, followed by the cassette Dreamarchives I - As Trivial as Life And Death in 1988. The band's self-titled debut album was released in 1988, followed by Pumpkin Tide (1989) and As Trivial as Life and Death (1990). Flowerpornoes disbanded in 1996 but reunited in 2007 with a new lineup including Markus Steinebach, Birgit Quentmeier, Giuseppe Mautone, and Tom Liwa. Notable albums from their reunion include Wie oft musst Du vor die Wand laufen bis der Himmel sich auftut? (2007) and Ich liebe Menschen wie ihr (2012).
