Cobblestone Jazz is a Canadian trio based in Victoria, British Columbia, known for their jazz-improvisation-influenced approach to making electronic music. The trio, consisting of Mathew Jonson, Danuel Tate, and Tyger Dhula, began performing together around 1996 and officially founded the band in 2002. Their early performances included sets at Mutek 2003 in Montreal. Cobblestone Jazz released a double album, 23 Seconds, in 2007 through the German label !K7. The following year, they toured the United States. In 2015, they performed in Japan and released the Northern Lights EP. The group performed at the Houghton Festival in the UK in 2017 and the Caprices Festival in 2018. They were also announced as part of the lineup for the 2022 NEOPOP Electronic Music Festival.
