Christian Johan Walz is a Swedish artist, songwriter, and music producer born on September 4, 1978, in Stockholm. He achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by pop, soul, and R&B and for winning a Grammis for Best Pop. Walz achieved professional recognition for a career that began after he was signed to the label BMG in 1997. His recording career began with the debut eponymous studio recording Christian Walz (1999) which featured the hit single "Lovin' Is All Right" and the hit single "Sentimental". The recording achieved professional recognition for selling over 20,000 units. Walz achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Paint By Numbers (2004) which received four Grammis nominations and featured the hit single "Wonderchild". His discography included the studio recording The Corner (2008) featuring the single "What's Your Name?" which he performed at the Grammis awards in 2009.
