Sing-Sing were an English rock ensemble from London established in 1997. The group consisted of the musicians Emma Anderson and Lisa O'Neill. They achieved professional recognition for a musical career that began after Anderson performed as a member of the ensemble Lush and O'Neill worked with the musicians Mad Professor and Kid Loco. Their recording career began with the song “Feels Like Summer” (1998) released on the label Bella Union. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for founding the label Aerial in 2000 to release the song “I'll Be”. Their discography included the debut studio recording The Joy of Sing-Sing (2001), which received a 7.4 rating from the magazine Pitchfork. Sing-Sing achieved professional recognition for performing at the festival SXSW and the festival CMJ in 2002. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the extended play Madame Sing-Sing (2004) and the studio recording Sing-Sing and I (2005), which received three stars from the magazine The Guardian. They achieved professional recognition for collaborating with the musicians Mark Van Hoen and Robin Guthrie. The ensemble became inactive in December 2007. Wrake achieved professional recognition for performing as a member of the ensemble Lost Remnants and Anderson released the studio recording Pearlies (2023).
