Christer Samuel Björkman is a Swedish singer and television producer. Before his music career, Björkman worked as a hairdresser and salon owner. He began his musical career in 1984 with the release of his first single “Leken Blev Nästan Sann,” which entered the Swedish charts (Svensktoppen). His debut album Våga Och Vinn was released in 1985. Björkman gained national recognition after winning Melodifestivalen in 1992 with the song “I Morgon Är En Annan Dag,” which also represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest that year. In addition to his performing career, Björkman became a central figure in Swedish television production, serving as head of production for Melodifestivalen from 2002 to 2021. He also worked as artistic producer for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013, 2016, and 2017.
