Höllenboer was a Dutch singing duo, founded in Salland in the early 1990s by Gerard Oosterlaar and Bas van den Toren. The band gained prominence through their satirical songs performed in the local dialect of their home region. Their debut album Muj goed kiek'n wa'k zeg was released in 1993. Höllenboer achieved national success with the single "Het busje komt zo" in September 1995, which reached Number 1 on the Dutch charts and remained there for five weeks. The song, about two drug addicts waiting for the methadone bus, became a significant cultural milestone. Their third and final album was released in 1998. Höllenboer disbanded after a farewell concert on April 28, 2000.
