Crown of Thornz, a hardcore punk band, formed in 1994 in New York City. They released the Train Yard Blues EP in 1995, released through Equal Vision Records, followed by the studio album Mentally Vexed in 1996 on Another Planet Records. The band issued a split single with Aggressive Dogs in 1998 before disbanding that year. After a 2012 reunion, they released the single "Nothing But Tragedy" in 2015 and toured with Rancid, the Transplants, Sick of It All, and Agnostic Front.
