The Class of 98 was an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. Founded in 1998 by Steve Wilson, the group initially played locally and opened for acts such as John Davis of Superdrag and The Juliana Theory. In 2005, they signed with The Militia Group and released their debut album Touch This and Die!. The band toured extensively, sharing the stage with acts such as Relient K and Cartel, and played both Cornerstone festivals. After going on hiatus in 2007, The Class of 98 returned in 2010 with Matt Fine on drums, releasing an EP Eye of the Needle and a full-length album Heaven. In 2016, all four original members reunited for a "10-year anniversary" show.
