Stella Le Page is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer from the UK. She trained as a classical cellist at the Royal College of Music before embracing the London commercial scene, playing synths for Primary 1, accompanying and composing with rapper Plan B, and recording cello for an assortment of pop artists. She went on to sign a publishing deal for her songwriting with Universal France and moved to Paris to pursue her solo project.
Stella has since worked with La Femme, Chateau Marmont, Alex Beaupain, Gunship, Glass Figure, Sarah McCoy, toured as a backing singer for Mercury prize-winner Benjamin Clementine, and collaborated with pianist Malakoff Kowalski on several film scores.
Stella has toured with world-renowned musical genius Chilly Gonzales since 2017, and recorded on several of his projects including Other People’s Pieces, A very Chilly Christmas, and French Kiss.
Beside her work as a touring musician, she has been quietly self-producing solo albums over the last few years, combining dreamy vocals and cello instrumentals.
Her 8th release, in the form of two EPs; one piano and one cello - is out on January 17th.
