Minotaur Shock is the stage name of British electronic musician David John Edwards, based in Bristol, England. He debuted with Chiff-Chaffs and Willow Warblers (2001) on the Melodic label, followed by Rinse (2003). His third album, Maritime (2005), marked his first release for 4AD Records, while later returning to Melodic for Orchard (2012). Edwards has since released Music from "The Noise" (2014), MINO (2019), and Salina Pulse Streams (2020). In addition to his solo work, he has played drums with the Bristol band Bronze Age Fox and has released music under the alias Principal Participant since 2010.
