Straight Frank, a Swedish rock band from Stockholm, was formed in 2008 when singer and guitarist Tobias Gustavsson, bassist Henrik Edenhed, and drummer Kasper Lindgren met at a showcase event. The trio had previously worked as musicians, producers, and songwriters for other artists. Their initial recordings on Myspace garnered over 50,000 listens within months. In 2010, Straight Frank signed with Sony Music and began writing new material. They played numerous concerts in Sweden and Germany, including support slots for Alice Cooper and Deep Purple. The band's self-titled album was released in January 2012.
