A Scent Like Wolves is an American metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, formed in 2010 by founding members Al Boltz and Jeff Brown. The group originated after a high school talent show and took their name from a line in the movie Ninja Assassin. Their debut album, And the Story Goes, was self-released in June 2013. In November 2015, A Scent Like Wolves signed with We Are Triumphant. Their sophomore album, Frigid Future, was released in March 2016 and featured the single "Haunted" along with its music video. The band released the EP Spirit Vessel in May 2018 and supported it with tours across Asia, including performances at Taihu Midi Music Festival. In November 2020, the band announced the album Mystic Auras, which was later released. Their most recent album, Distant Dystopia, came out in February 2024.
