Zammuto is an American indie rock band from Readsboro, Vermont, that formed in 2011. The ensemble was established by Nick Zammuto following the disbandment of his previous group, The Books. The project originally began as a solo venture in 1998 with the self-released recording Solutiore of Stareau (1998). After forming the band, they released their eponymous debut studio album, Zammuto, (2012) through the label Temporary Residence Limited. The group toured across North America and Europe as a support act for performers including Explosions in the Sky and Gotye. Their second studio album, Anchor, was released (2014) and was funded through a crowdfunding campaign that raised 350% of its original goal. Their discography also includes the EP Veryone (2016) and the soundtrack for the film We the Animals (2018).
