Little Girls, a Canadian indie rock band from Toronto, Ontario, was formed in 2008 by multi-instrumentalist Josh McIntyre. The band gained significant attention when McIntyre anonymously posted his music online under the name Little Girls, catching the eye of influential blogs like Gorilla vs. Bear and Pitchfork Media. The band's full-length album, Concepts, debuted at number 12 on Chart Attack and number 14 on Earshot! in 2009. The band also released Tambourine with Paper Bag Digital in the same year. They embarked on a North American tour, performing at major festivals including Halifax Pop Explosion, Pop Montreal, CMJ, and South by Southwest Festival.
