The Cancer Conspiracy was an American progressive rock group from Burlington, Vermont. Formed in 2001 by guitarist Daryl Rabidoux and drummer/keyboardist/saxophonist Greg Beadle, they decided to remain an instrumental trio with the addition of bassist Brent Frattini. Their debut self-titled EP was released in 2001, followed by their full-length album The Audio Medium in 2002. The band toured extensively and opened for Oysterhead's first tour. In late 2003, after a series of mishaps, including the theft of all their equipment during a show in New York City, the band disbanded. Their second album, Ω, was released in 2008 by Gilead and Radar Recordings following years of legal issues.
