Martin Todsharow is a German film score composer, musician and producer born in 1967 in Ost-Berlin. He studied piano and counterpoint at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin between 1989 and 1994 and began writing music for theatre in 1991. In 1993, he was awarded a scholarship to study in Britain. Todsharow began his career as a professional film composer in 1997 and has composed scores for numerous film and television productions. His filmography included scores for the films Der Rosenkavalier (1997), Die Unberührbare (2000), Kokowääh (2011) and Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins (2021). In 2017, he released the soundtrack for the film The Captain. Todsharow has served as a professor at the Konrad Wolf Film University of Babelsberg since 2004 and has lectured at the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg and the DFFB in Berlin.
