Loga Ramin Torkian, born September 23, 1964, in Tehran, Iran, is an Iranian musician and composer. He co-founded the groups Axiom of Choice and Niyaz, which integrated Persian and Middle Eastern themes into their music. His compositions featured traditional Middle-Eastern prayers, songs, or chants, and he played multiple instruments, including the Iranian tar, the Turkish saz, and the GuitarViol. His debut solo album Mehraab (2011) was successfully released. He contributed music to several films, such as The Chosen One (1995), America So Beautiful (2001), Plastic Flowers Never Die (2008), and Crossing Over (2009). His work with Niyaz included the albums Niyaz (2005) and Nine Heavens (2008). Another notable release is the Axiom of Choice album Beyond Denial (1995).
