Telemetry Orchestra, an Australian electronic music group, was formed in Sydney in the late 1990s and consisted of Steve Scott, Gavin Angus-Leppan on guitar and vocals, and Charlotte Whittingham. Their debut album Live Better Electrically was released in 1998, followed by Children Stay Free in 2003, which included notable singles such as "Suburban Harmony" and "Under the Knife". The group's third album, Empire, was released in 2006 and featured the single "Under the Cherry Tree", accompanied by a video clip produced by Animal Logic that won an award at a New York event early in 2007. In 2013, they released the EP Out of Nowhere, featuring six tracks written, performed, and recorded by Angus-Leppan and Whittingham.
